Dr. Bohr received his B.A. in Geography from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993, then went on to receive his M.A. in Geography from San Diego State University in 1998. Dr. Bohr got his Ph.D. in Geography from Louisiana State University in 2005. Professor Bohr's research interests lie in the area of synoptic climatology, global change, and extreme weather events. His dissertation research focused on trends in extreme daily surface temperatures in the south-central United States over the latter half of the Twentieth Century.
